Dr Sarah Golding has recently joined the Riddet Institute HQ team as Communications Officer. Her role will encompass promoting a positive public profile for the Riddet Institute, generating internal and external communications, promoting visibility and enhancing national and international reputation. In this capacity, she will be engaging with researchers within the Riddet, as well as its partners and collaborators, to help communicate successes and research activities.

Sarah has been working within Massey University for over 7 years with a role in Events Management but she has spent much of her career in science, starting in scientific research, moving to scientific communication, recruitment and conferencing. With a PhD from York University in Ice Crystallisation and Antifreeze proteins for food applications, Sarah’s career has taken her from Unilever Research in both the UK (Colworth House) and the Netherlands (Vlaardingen), via Australia to New Zealand. Sarah enjoys developing partnerships, both across organisations and externally, and team working to produce successful events and profile.
