Catriona completed a PhD in Molecular Neuroscience at the University of London, and has a multidisciplinary research background that includes analysis of the molecular interactions in nociceptive and neurological disease pathways and application of genetic engineering technologies. Catriona joined the Riddet Institute in April 2019 specialising in the field of Consumer and sensory Science on the MBIE fermented foods project. Catriona is part of the Feast team, under the supervision of Prof Joanne Hort, with experience in moderating focus groups and other consumer sensory analysis.
