Collaboration

Working collaboratively across organisations and disciplines is at the heart of who we are as a national Centre of Research Excellence (CoRE).

The multi-disciplinary, cross-organisational approach of a CoRE provides critical mass and affords greater depth and perspective to food and nutritional science. Disciplines such as structural chemistry, soft material physics, advanced mathematics and bioengineering add competencies that allow work to be carried out on more fundamental science.

We also have collaborations with overseas universities and institutions to strengthen our ability to provide a world-leading environment for our scientists.
